Young Canadian Jess Moskaluke a Step Closer to Stardom After Winning Country Music Competition

“She’s 20. That makes me mad.” exclaimed Charlie Major, the Canadian country music legend, receiving audience laughter while returning to the stage after performing Backroads to a standing ovation halfway through the 2011 New Artist Showcase during the Canadian Country Music Awards week. He was referring to Jess Moskaluke, the standout among a dazzling array of up and coming Canadian country music talent performing at the Hamilton Convention Centre on Friday night.
